SUPERSONIC 10K ROUTE

The Supersonic 10K is a fantastic flat & fast course, great for setting a quick time or for a chance to take in the stunning Bournemuoth coastline at your own pace. Starting and finishing near the Bournemouth Marathon Festival Hub in the Lower Gardens, this beautiful coastal route heads along Undercliff Drive past some of the lovely Beach Huts, before turning back towards Bournemouth. The Supersonic 10K route allows runners the rare opportunity to run along the iconic Bournemouth Pier, before finishing in the gorgeous Lower Gardens for a well-deserved ice cream!
Undercliff Drive
Start as you mean to go on by taking in all the splendour of Bournemouth’s award winning beaches, running past some of the two hundred and fifty beach huts along the seafront!
RUSSELL COTES ART GALLERY AND MUSEUM
At the 4KM mark you can see the famous Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum. Situated on Bournemouth’s stunning cliff-top, over looking the sea, this exotic seaside villa has been sealed in time creating a unique atmosphere in a most dramatic setting.
Beach Wedding Hut
Anyone feeling romantic?! At the foot of the West Cliff lift, lies the cute little ivory wedding hut that is Beach Weddings Bournemouth. This is the only wedding venue in England and Wales that enables you to marry right on the beach!
Bournemouth Pier
As you hit the iconic Bournemouth Pier, you know you’re on the home stretch. The Pier was first constructed in 1856. The Pier has undergone numerous transformations over the years, with the addition of the Bournemouth Pier Theatre in 1959.
The finish at Lower Gardens!
The most beautiful sight for any runner – the finish line! Lower Gardens was landscaped in 1871 after a competition was held by Bournemouth Council to design the new gardens, most of the Victorian splendour still remains today.
