Julia’s House supports Dorset and Wiltshire families with life-limited children, providing frequent respite care in our hospice in Corfe Mullen and in families' own homes. We are there year-round and in a crisis, offering emotional and practical support, emergency respite and end-of-life care. We support the whole family, organising social activities for parents and siblings. In 2016 we will receive just 5% of our total annual funding from the government, making us one of the worst-funded hospices in the UK.
Fundraising may be tough but it’s not as tough as the challenges facing Julia’s House families every day. Run for us and make a real difference to local families in need.
As a Julia's House team member, you'll recieve some great benefits:
These are guaranteed charity places. So you can run for us at the Bournemouth Marathon Festival, Julia’s House pays for your place and running vest, and in return we ask you to reach your minimum fundraising pledge by 31st October 2017. It’s really important that everyone reaches their sponsorship target, but please don’t be daunted, you will be surprised with what you can achieve!
Already have a place? If you have paid for your own entry and would like to fundraise for Julia's House, let us know! You’ll receive all the benefits a charity place runner will receive but there’s no minimum fundraising pledge – we simply ask you to raise as much as you can.
