The BMF Junior races are a great way to get the whole family involved in Bournemouth Marathon Festival weekend. Runners aged 6-8 will run 1.5K and runners aged 9-12 will run 2K.

1.5K Route – Starting at 12.45pm

Starting on Bournemouth Prom and finishing near the Bournemouth Marathon Festival Hub in the Lower Gardens, this beautiful coastal route takes in the Bournemouth Pier. It’s a great race for kids of all ages.

BECOME A SUPER ACTIVE SCHOOL!

Sign up for the junior races and your school could become a Super Active School, as well as be in with the chance of winning £150 worth of sport equipment!

This is a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to get fit and run as part of a team while representing their school.
