The BMF Junior races are a great way to get the whole family involved in Bournemouth Marathon Festival weekend. Runners aged 3-6 will run in the Kids’ Kilometre. Children taking part in this event must be accompanied by an adult (adults do not need to have an entry).

Kids’ Kilometre Route – Starting at 12noon

Starting on Bournemouth Prom and finishing near the Bournemouth Marathon Festival Hub in the Lower Gardens, this beautiful coastal route takes in the Bournemouth Pier. It’s a great race for kids of all ages.

BECOME A SUPER ACTIVE SCHOOL!

Sign up for the junior races and your school could become a Super Active School, as well as be in with the chance of winning £150 worth of sport equipment!

This is a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to get fit and run as part of a team while representing their school. The ’Super Active Schools’ iniative was launched after the success of The Daily Mile in order to recognise and reward the increased efforts of getting kids active throughout schools in the Dorset area. More info
